Biography

E. Griffin Cipolla, D.O. is a longtime resident of Phoenix; receiving two Bachelor of Science degrees in Bio-Agricultural Science and Microbiology at Arizona State University. He received his Doctor of Osteopathy in 1991, at the Kirksville College of Osteopathic Medicine in Kirksville, Missouri. Dr. Cipolla completed an osteopathic rotating Internship at Tucson General Hospital in 1992 and Internship and Residency in Family Medicine at Phoenix Baptist Hospital in 1995.

Dr. Cipolla maintains board certification in Family Medicine by the American Board of Family Medicine; is a Fellow of the American Academy of Family Physicians; and credentialed by the American Academy of HIV Medicine and in Opiate Addiction management. Dr. Cipolla has been in private practice since July 1995; having formed Camelback Mountain Medical Associates, P.C., a solo medical practice in 1998. As a solo practitioner you will receive Dr. Cipolla's personal attention to your medical needs without the use of physican assistants or nurse practitioners.

Additionally, Dr. Cipolla is on the teaching staff of two area hospitals and holds active admitting hospital privilages at Phoenix Baptist, Maryvale and Banner Thunderbird Hospitals, should you require hospitilization or emergency services. Please note , Dr. Cipolla manages his patient's care in hospital without the use of hospitalists.

Dr. Cipolla's practice encompasses patient care of all ages and the complete scope of Family Medicine with the exception of obstetrics. He also offers specialty consultation regarding HIV/AIDS, Hepatitis and Opiate Dependency management.
